WE have been given that vector C makes an angle of 530 with the negative x axis.

So we know that the x component of the vector will be

Cx= C cos53

And y component will be

Cy=C sin53

So,

Cx=2.8*cos53

Cx=1.685 m

And,

Cy= 2.8*sin53

Cy=2.236 m
