Answer #1

1A positive tuberculin test mean past or present infections by Mycobacterium TB.

2 After first tuberculin test ,read the results 48-72hours later.if first test is positive, consider the person infected and if the second tesy read 48 -72 hours hours later is positive consider the person as previously infected and if negative conider the person as uninfected. Some of the general principles of treating TB are use multiple drugs ,long treatment duration and patients must be monitored closely for efficacy /toxicity/adherence.The standard for active TB treatment include RIPE therapy.for 2 months then begin two drug combination for 4 months minimum.

3 if the patient has TB germs in the body but they havent become active it means the patient is in latent stage. So the patient needs to follow certain tips to help prevent others from getting TB during the first few weeks of treatment or until the doctor says tha the patient is not contagious.Always cover your mouth witha tissue while coughing or sneezing ,after that seal the tisssue in a plastic bag ,then throw it away.Wash your hands after coughing or sneezing, stay home from work, school and other public places, dont use public transportation.
