Ans 1: UTI ( urinary tract infection ) and STD ( sexually transmitted disease ) are the most likely cause of discharge from penis.Watery/ very small discharge from male genital organ in sexually active man can be a symptom of gonorrhea.Male discharge that has of non STD cause may be a variation of normal discharge or it may be a sign of infection that requires treatment.Non STD causesof penile discharge include :

  • Pre-ejacuation ( fluid that comes out of the male genital organ during sexual arousal ),
  • urinary tract infection(infection of urinary tract ),
  • Balanitis (inflammation of the head of the male genital organ) ,
  • Prostatitis (inflammation and irritation of prostate ),
  • White secretion or yellow secretion (secretion of skin oil sebum like white and yellow in colour with dead skin cells and water around glands of foreskin of male genital organ.

Ans 2: Gonorrhera is a sexually transmitted disesase causaed by Nisseria Gonorrhoea that cause infection of urethra,cervix ,anus, throat and eyes. It infects both males and females.It causes genital discharge in both.Gonorrhea may have painful urination.

Gonnorhea can be seen and diagnosed by urine test. Nucleic acid amplification test iss done to detect gonorrhea.This test is used to detect bacteria in blood, tissue and urine sample.It detects the genetic material(DNA) of the Nisseria Gonnorhea.
