Mechanism for the formation of the DYE B4 consisting of the following set of reaction conditions:
(i) Diazotisation of the aniline (here is the 3-aminosulphonic acid) gives the correspomding Diazonium salt, this is achieved by using SODIUMNITRITE in ACIDIC MEDIUM SUCH AS HCl.
(ii) Coupling of the diazotised salt with the 4-chloro 3- methyl phenol, in the presence of base at low temperature such as 0-5* C. results the formation of the B4.
The mechanism of the B4 formation is given as
follows,
what is the mechanism of the Azo dye prepared using B4 Anilines NH2 LINH HOS SO,H...
what is the structure of c1? if you can show the mechanism
that would help. thanks

Provide the mechanism for your prepared azo dye (with the appropriate arrow pushing of electrons, keeping in mind that there may be multiple possible products based on the phenolic compound given). use sulfanilic acid and 1-naphthol
1) Write a Reaction equation using 4- aminobenzenesulfulfonic
acid (aniline derivative) and 8-anilino-1-naphthalenesulfonic acid
(coupling agent). Write the mechanism.
SYNTHESIS OF AZO DYES INTRODUCTION Humans' love of color dates back almost to prehistoric times, yet it is not actually until the modern era that the full range of the rainbow has been accessible to the majority of people irn their clothes and other textiles. Ancient or medieval times have often been described as being quite splendid with their "tyrian purple"...
