1. Partial thickness wounds are of second stage wounds where the wound formation was involved with the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin. These wounds are pink red in nature ,open or ruptured, found with blisters filled with serous fluid.These are either termed as Stage II wounds or Non pressure wounds.

2. Performing regular repositioning movements, vertical push ups and leaning movements.Accessing wheel chairs properly and using repositioning techniques.Identifying skin moisture sensation areas and also the areas where the skin has become pale.

3. Simple pressure pad devices, medicated lubricant pads are used to heal a partial thickness wounds.
