• After surgery, Mrs. Johnson develops a MRSA infection at her wound site. How is this handled? Consider antibiotic treatment and wound cleaning and treatment. What kinds of antibiotics would be used? How can you be sure your antibiotic treatment will be effective? What precautions would her care team have to take? (5 points)
• Mrs. Johnson healed up wonderfully. It is now time for the cleaning staff to come in and clean her room for the next patient and wash the linens. Describe some precautions and products that might be used to clean her room.

Environment, consent for the scrubbing, articles and equipments, personal protective equipments to prevent cross infection, infection control through sterile and aseptic techniques, waste disposal, functioning of the instruments used, site to be scrubbed to be exposed.

* check list of the instruments and other equipments

The MRSa infection can be handled by:
