1. I can prevent the spread of infection when providing care for a patient with open wound is by the following methods :-

- By following the universal precautions while providing care to the patient

- By Hand washing

- By the use of Personal Protective Equipment

2. I can spread infection if I have cold by droplet method of transmission to others and by direct contact method while coughing , sneezing etc

3. In the past , I have spread infection by direct contact by the following ways :-

- coughing without covering

- sneezing openly without using handkerchief

- without hand washing taking care of patients with the contaminated hands

4. To avoid the spread of infection in future I will use the following methods :-

Hand washing

Following standard practice

Use of personal protective equipments

Maintaining hygiene
