After all, you are going to invest a lot of time and money becoming what you will be, and the university and perhaps your family and the government will also make a considerable investment, yet all that knowledge is right there. Its even on TV! Answer : health education is any combination of learning experiences designed to help individual and communities to improve their health , by increasing their knowledge or influencing their attitutudes towards the promotion of health .

Health education builds the students knowledge ,skills ,and positive attitude towards the health.
Health education teaches about physical ,mental ,emotional and social health .
It motivate students to improve and maintain their health ,prevent diseases and reduce risky behaviour .
In general ,health education positively influence the health behaviour of individual and communities as well as the living and working conditions that influence their health .
Health education creates the awareness among the individual , family and community to improve the healthy behaviour of people to prevent diseases.
It motivate the people to follow the positive life style .
Health education help in promotion of health , maintenance of health , restoration of health and prevetion from disease and disability.
It decreases the health care cost of the individuals .
It help the people to follow healthy practices such as handwashing , wearing of mask etc .
Hand washing is the universal precaution ,and it is the most important universal precaution people must follow .
Health education improves the health of the individuals
By the effective health education patients can limit their diseases ex : DM , HTN etc .
