Atomic radius is used to describe the size of the atom.

Atomic radius increases from top to bottom in a periodic table and decreases from left to right. Based on this principle lets find an answer for the following.

1)

A) As (Arsenic) has a bigger radius than Phosphorus as it is lying down to Phosphous in period table

B) Cl- has a bigger radius as one electron is added

C) Mg has a bigger radius as per the periodic table as explained above

D) Cr has a bigger radius than its corresponding positively charged atom as its electrons are removed

E) Bromine has a bigger radius as per periodic table it lies rightside to selenium

2) Isolelectronic pairs are those that has same number of valence electrons. Lets apply the principle to assess the right answer. Hence the answer should be A, C and E.
