Research emergency preparedness is essential in health care organization. For any emergency,, we should be prepare ourselves and our people,, resources prior to the emergency or any disaster . It helps us to understand the the emergency situation and to overcome this emergency by saving people . Emergency such as natural calamities like earth quake, storm,, tsunami,, flood, draughts etc... Accidents are also a kind of emergency. For all the emergencies and problems,, we should be prepared earlier with adequate resources like manpower, adequate supplies of food , medicine and materials.

The overall goal of the research emergency preparedness is to establish a collaborative research effort with in the public health which will facilitate the conduct of public health system research to strengthen and improve the ability of services . Research focuses on preparedness, response capabilities, emergency management activities and factors affecting individual and community to disaster and adverse public health events. It is very important to assess the public for the preparedness of emergency, their knowledge, their risk of communication, availability of resources , check for volunteers, responders health and safety etc .
