We know that the component of vector B along A is in vertical direction. If we measure the angle in vertical direction then we take the magnitude of vector multiply by its sine angle between them. Then B along A is Bsin(theta).

Here theta angle is less than 90 degree and we know that maximum value of sine is at 90 degrre which is 1. So below 90 degree value is always less than one.

So component of B along A is smaller than B.

Correct option is D.
