Cost of direct labors, cost of depreciation and cost of electricity are labor and manufacturing overhead
These are therefore conversion costs
Tires is part of automobile and is rather considered as raw material to manufacture the automobile. It is therefore direct material costs and not part of conversion costs
Thus, cost of tires on an automobile is not conversion costs
