Write the balanced net ionic equation for the reaction between ClO- and SO3^2-
Show work please
ClO- reacts with SO32- to form SO42- and Cl- following this equation-
ClO- + SO32- Cl- + SO42-
Oxidation Reaction
SO32- SO42-
At first we need to equate the numbers of oxygen atom by adding H+ and H2O. Now in the LHS there is one oxygen less. So we have added one H2O in LHS and two H+ in RHS
SO32- + H2O SO42- + 2H+
Next step is charge balancing. For this we need to add two electrons in RHS
SO32- + H2O SO42- + 2H+ + 2e ....(1)
Reduction Reaction
ClO- Cl-
At first we need to equate the numbers of oxygen atom by adding H+ and H2O. Now in the RHS there is one oxygen less. So we have added one H2O in RHS and two H+ in LHS

(1) + (2)
ClO- + SO32- Cl- + SO42-
