Answer #1

Answer : Raw material costs are added only to the first processing department

The statement "Raw material costs are added only to the first processing department" is false with respect to process costing

AS

it is not necessary that raw material costs will be added only to the first processing department raw material cost may be added at any process it depends on the need of the product that what material will be added in which process so saying it that raw material costs are added only to the first department is wrong

all other statements are correct with respect to the process costing

Hence our answer is "Raw material costs are added only to the first processing department"

as it is not true
