Answer #1

(3).

(1)

Barium nitrate reacts with sodium chromate to form barium chromate and sodium nitrate

The molecular equation as follows:

Ba(NO3)2 (aq) + Na2CrO4(aq) -----> BaCrO4(s) + 2NaNO3(aq)

Total ionic equation:

Ba2+(aq) + 2NO3^-(aq) + 2Na+(aq) + CrO4^2-(aq) -----> BaCrO4(s) + 2Na+(aq) + 2NaNO3^-(aq)

(2) The ions which are present both side of reaction are called as Spectator ions.

Here the spectator ions are sodium ion Na+ and nitrate ion NO3^-

(3)

Net ionic equation:

Cancel the Spectator ions

Ba2+(aq) + CrO4^2-(aq) -----> BaCrO4(s)
