Answer: The mitosis plays major role in activating the milk gland. As soon as the woman reaches to the puberty, the body starts to develop the body accordingly, and at the time of pregnancy it's converts fatty sac to an active milk gland. The apoptosis has its own function as it breakdown the lactocytes which usually gets build up after the breastfeeding is being stop. The apoptosis are responsible for shrinking of the breast.
