A random sample of 150 male athletes over the past several years and find that 122 eventually graduated.

a) The population interested in the study is the Number of male athletes in the specific University over the past several years.Since we want to draw the inferences about this population.

b) The sample in the study are the random sample of 150 male athletes selected for the study.

c) The population parameter is the quantity which describe the population.

Hence the parameter is the proportion of male athletes that graduate.

Therefore the population parameter is population proportion(p)

d) Sample statistic is the sample proportion \hat{p}

here 123 P = = 0.813
