Clinical staff better know conditions of the patient as they spend more time with patient.they can easily idenentify difference between two or more disease conditions or patient status etc.sometimes we get confused while coding due to this similarity or differences.so it would be better to connect with clinical staff to avoid confusions to resolve coding or discrepancies.
