Answer #1

From Compton shift,

Lambda = (h/mo c) (1 - cos(theta))

3.73 x 10^-12 = (6.626 x 10^-34/(9.11 x 10^-11 x 3 x 10^8))(1 - cos(theta))

3.73 x 10^-12 = (0.241 x 10^-11)(1 - cos (theta))

1 - cos(theta) = 1.548

Cos(theta) = - 0.548

Theta = 123°
