According to the report it shows nearly 2.3 million people infected with STD.Sexually transmitted diseases are more common in certain parts of US especially South Dakota stands at the highest rank in sexually transmitted diseases like

Syphilis: at 27th place(its rate increases by 75%,the rate has substantially increased from 2.5% from 2015)

Gonorrhea: at 19th place(25.8% ,Omaha cases are twicethan the cases from Nebraska)

Chlamydia: at 22nd place (35.4%,h,igher than about 450 times than Nebraska and about more than 520 times to US

The risk which are involved in STD are

  • Loss of social respect as their is still a social stigma for STD worldwide
  • Long term care and infection
  • Can transmit it to others especially partners in active relationships
  • Financial loss
  • Self Isolation from others leading to depression

Some of the education which can be given are

  • Use of definite preventive measure if having relationship with unknown or witness workers
  • Use preventive measure if spouse or partner is infected or on treatment
  • Take preventive medication along with spouse who is on active treatment
  • Better to avoid intercourse with infected people,MSM
  • Regular screening and health checkups
  • Health education, screening camps and awareness programs
