We have, p=0.125, n = 400

Z is the corresponding z-value for 95% confidence interval. This can be looked up from a standard normal table as 1.96

The confidence interval is now given as:

10.125(1-0.125) 0.125 +1.964/ | 400 = 0.125 +0.0324 = [0.0926, 0.1574]

In percentages, the confidence interval is [9.26%, 15.74%]
