Achieving wide-scale health equity is an important goal
worldwide because it eliminates inequalities in health status. It
provides equal opportunity, benefits wellness and good health among
different groups of people/. poverty, unemployment, inadequate
housing, lack of transportation facilities, violence are the
factors that make unequal ways contribute to health
inequalities.
Addressing the root of the cause for health inequalities like
social determinants of health is important for making
interventions. National and state leadership-driven changes address
the inequities to determine health. Making economic advantages
benefit low-income households to benefit social determinants of
health. Local, regional and state government involvement achieving
health equity by making investment and make individuals access to a
healthy lifestyle. Colloboration with other agencies and policy
followup promotes health equity. Develop a structured policy and
law to support equity.
Health education provides health information and improves knowledge
to individuals and the community by providing skills for adopting
healthy behavior. It helps them to improve their health by
increasing their knowledge, attitudes as a multisectoral approach.
