Negative inductive group (withdrawing groups) increases the acidity of carboxylic acid and positive inductive groups!dona dona groups) decreases the acidity of carboxylic acid.

Here NO2,CN,Cl and OH are withdrawing groups

And order : OH<Cl<CN<NO2
