Gross estate is total value of assets and properties of deceased person.It is calculate at the time of death of person.Only assets are considered.

Liabilities are deducted if net estate is to computed.

Gross estate is governed by executor.Executor is person who is appointed to admin the estate of deceased person .If name of person is not recognized in will then duties of executor is performed by person appointed by court.
