THE ANSWER IS NOT $379.91. I have done put that in and it is telling me I am wrong.

Plantwide overhead rate = Budgeted Factory Overhead/Plantwide Allocation Base = 741200/9950 = $74.49

Product costs:

Gasoline engine $74.49 per dir. labor hr. × 5.1 dlh = $379.90

Diesel engine $74.49 per dir. labor hr. × 5.1 dlh = $379.90
