To find whether the molecules are same or not we have to find the R/S configuration using Cahn-Ingold-Prelog rules. If both of them give the same configuration then they are the same molecule. If they have different configurations then they are mirror images (enantiomers).
b)
Since the configuration is same for both the structures two of the above are same compound.
c)
Since the configuration is different they are mirror images.
how can i know if they are same or not ?? is there any general rule...

*) Please mirror the molecule A along the mirror plane given. Homework 1 on chirality b.) Look at the two compounds, A and B below. Are they the same molecule or are they image and mirror-image?
For the first part I got 1 and 0 chiral centers, but do not
know how to find stereo centers.
I also do not understand how parts of one molecule can be
constitutional isomers or same compounds, but not the whole
molecule.
Please answer!
