Q-1: PROBLEMES----Emergency department lost its identity due to the clients who come with wrong emergencies.Staff who works in the same department already have busy schedule and a lot of pressure as they need to attend many patient at a time.mean while if any patient come with mild symptoms to the emergency inorder to save their time ,it will increase the work overload of the whole staff.Moreover staff don't get enough time to give attention for the patient with true emergency.It can be dangerous for such patients. Furthermore,they are unable to find the staff such as nurses,doctors and assistants who would like to work in ER Q-2: Solutions by staff: Hospital staff can give priority according to the triage system..if there is no emergency staff can refer the patient to out patient department inorder o decrease the crowed. In hospital triage first priority should be given to code red patient such as cardiac arrest,shock.In this case immediate treatment is needed.Next is code yellow such as acute appendicitis,fracture.This patients need urgent care but can wait for 1 to 2 hrs.priority third is stable patient such as fever,vomit.Then last priority is for death patients or to be died..if the staff follow the triage system it will be easy for them to handle such situations.
