Answer #1

Molar volume is volume of 1 mol of gas.

Given:

P = 677 torr

= (677/760) atm

= 0.8908 atm

n = 1 mol

T = 54.0 oC

= (54.0+273) K

= 327 K

use:

P * V = n*R*T

0.8908 atm * V = 1 mol* 0.0821 atm.L/mol.K * 327 K

V = 30.1234 L

Answer: 30.1 L
