the director of nursing has asked you to procure Nursing Services for your Long Term care unit. She has asked for three RN's for the day shift for one week. What type of contract is the Director of Nursing asking you to enter into.

Long term care is a variety of services which help meetone both the medical and non medical needs of people with a chronic illness or disability who cannot care for themselves for long periods

Long term care can be provided at home ,in the community or in nursing home etc.

In above question ,the director is asking about fixed term contract of 3 RN s for day shift for a week in a long term care unit .

Fixed _ term contract :

In fixed term contracts last for a specific amount of time ,which had been sry and agreed in advance .

In some instances ,fixed term cintracts msg not include an exact ti.e frame and Whs with specific task completed. These are of temporary contract and have some and date .
