Answer: The patient should be instructed as he should deeply inhale so that the lungs gets full completely. As soon as lungs gets full, seal the lips near the mouth and try to exhale as fast as possible. In the sitting position test should be performed.

The FEV 70% reduction in pulmonary volume, FVC is less than 0.7 then the test for COPD should be performed.

The test and diagnosis reveals about the COPD, bronchodilators should be given as well as steriods should be given.
