A) characteristics. of acid------an acid is a chemical substance that produce hydrogen ion ,H+ In water solution.

characteristics. of base----an base is a chemical substance that produce hydroxide ion ,OH- In water solution.

example-- HCL ------> H + + CL-

B)  ph calculate both acid and base-----

acid-when acid are dissolved water solution the the PH of acid must be lower than 7

acid PH<7

Base Ph -- when bases are dissolved water the base PH must be higher than 7 and maximum 14

base Ph value 7 to 14

c) i can easily notice at anion , in order at polyprotic more than one H+ proton.

we can look at anion of the acid to see weather it is polyprotic or not. the anon of polyprotic acid are most common polyprotic base. the product of the neutralization of a strong base and weak acid its anion is called conjugate base os week acid.
