It is a trait found in a person who is known as a global
entrepreneur.
They use to identify transactional and cross-cultural opportunities
and covert that into new initiatives by using global understanding
and connections.
Entrepreneurship means to create new business and sometimes efforts
of global leaders go beyond the creation of a business.
Step 2- How to become a global entrepreneur:
There are several strategies used by the individual to start their
careers as a global entrepreneur:
i). Get educated- With the help of education an individual can get
knowledge and experience needed to market goods and services
throughout the world. Measures to be pursued by individuals who
wish to become a global entrepreneur are; business, economics,
finance, and marketing. Education operates as a networking
mechanism.
ii). Use the internet- It is a tool used by an individual who is
attempting to become a global entrepreneur. By using it, an
individual can connect with other people all over the world. The
Internet is used by many people for shopping, through websites and
blogs goods and services can be marketed easily. You can hire an
internet marketing specialist who may help in designing the
website/blog to connect with your clients and the creation of an
advertising campaign to reach the target market.
iii). Pursue internship opportunities- It is also a mechanism used
to become a global entrepreneur. You can gain the needed skills and
knowledge to cultivate own business by using a site that helps to
conduct business on the global level. Internship works as a
networking endeavor as it provides the opportunity to meet with
people who may eventually become your business partner or your
customers to buy your goods and services.
Step 3- Example
Jehwan Park is an entrepreneur and founder of Lumir, a company
producing lamps for developing countries. His idea was funded
through Kickstarter and came with a light-emitting plasma (LEP)
lamp. It is run by using cooking oil and kerosene. He supplies
these lamps to help peoples of India and Indonesia.
