If there is fetal bradycardia, the patient can be asked to lie down on lateral position,oxytocin can be discontinued because the uterine contractions can impair the blood flow to the fetus causing bradycardia.Administering iv fluid bolus can also be done but performing scalp stimulation is not considered acceptable under normal circumstances.
