There are three steps of solving:

Step 1) Values: in order to apply values, these are to be known – such as what is honesty, what is the good conduct, etc.

Step 2) Model: a model has to be set (like a single rule for all or multiple rules for multiple people) for the application of values.

Step 3) Solve: this is the process of following the model, so that ethical problem could be solved. There may be more than one solution for any ethical dilemmas, but the best one should be selected. Suppose in order to stop a particular fraud – (1) the concerned staff could be fired, or (2) duties of the staff could be segregated. The best one may be “firing” the staff, since it may eliminate fraud in future.
