In the distributive negotiation each and every parties/negotiators are interested in meeting their objectives and not thinking about the loss of the other party, so are in conflict position.

In the integrative negotiation each and every parties/negotiators are not only interest to fulfill their objectives but also in the objective of other party and share expenses, so there is no conflict but things are mutual.

Thus, in both distributive and integrative negotiations, one thing is common and similar that both the parties are interest in negotiations and fulfilling the related objectives through negotiations.
