Distributive Bargaining-
In some instances where we negotiating for some service/product in this situation we need to adopt a distributive bargaining strategy. It is the strategy where you gain and other party loss. In other word you have to reach an agreement where you have to pay less and goal is to win as much as you can during the negotiation. In this strategy as much one party gain other one loss.
Integrative Bargaining-
It this strategy both party will try to find a solution where both of them get some benefit from that deal.This is an integrative bargaining, and the best way to think about this strategy is that it’s a “win-win” for both parties.
Difference Between Distributive Bargaining and Integrative Bargaining
Difference between both bargaining strategies is that in distributive bargaining, One party don’t take the second party’s needs into consideration in deal. Simply concerned with losing less than the other, only focus is on getting a better deal. In other hand integrative bargaining begins with agreement of both parties where both of them get some profit out of deal and it is win- win situation for both.
