Answer: One of the major difference between a nursing model and nursing theory is that the nursing conceptual model is to provide guidance particularly to the individual in their research whereas, the nursing theory explains about the nursing phenomenon process which is based on the research.

The nursing process theory which mainly focus on the guidance provided to the nurse for the assessment of patient. This theory provides support in managing patient care as it is patient centered. It increases the efficiency of the treatment as it enables nurse to meet the needs of the patients, diagnosis, assessment etc.
