Miliequivalent = mg / equivalent weight

Equivalent weight = molecular weight / valence

Valence of sodium is 1

Molecular weight as given in question is 371

Equivalent weight = 371

Ampicillin sodium = 1gm or 1000mg

Milliequivalent = 1000/371 = 2.69 or 2.7mEq
