Answer #1

First convert the ratio to percentage

Percentage strength =100/ratio strength

=100/4000

=0.025%

This refers to 0.025gm in 100gm

So to calculate in 10 g

Cross multiply and divide

=0.025×10÷100

=0.0025gm

Convert g to mg multiply gram by 1000

=2.5mg

An:2.5 mg of iodine to be used
