Firstly, Germany is an integral member of the European Union (EU). In EU there is internal single market and trade policies that apply in all member states. These policies include the free movement of people, goods, services, and capital within the market, common policies on trade, agriculture, and regional development. Euros is the currency of the EU and can be used in all 28 states of the Union.
Germany is also part of the elite group of developed nations that form the G7 organization, the other six members are the USA, UK, Canada, France, Italy, and Japan. The organization was founded to facilitate shared macroeconomic initiatives by its members, this way they could keep the impending danger of recession at bay.
Germany also a part of G20, it is an international forum for governments from 19 countries and the European Union (EU). Aim of creating G20 was to discuss policy pertaining to the promotion of international financial stability and good governance of the global economy.
