1. we use melting point to check the product formation. if you get the melting point 1350C, that means your formed product is aspirin.

3.No, Yields of the reaction is not 100% because of side reactions.

4. The purest substance is a crystal. so, that the method ask you to separate the pure crystals and not only the solid that might be a mixture of aspirin and starting materials.
