cancel out the common species on both sides to get the net ionic equation

here SO42- are common on both sides , cancel them out

the net ionic equation is

2 Al(OH)3 (s) + 6H+ (aq) --> 2 Al3+ (aq)+ 6 H2O (l)

since water is formed between the reaction of acidic h2so4 and basic al(oh)3

it is an acid-base reaction
