so

total ionic equation is

2K+ (aq)+ 2Al3+ (aq)+ 8 OH- (aq)+ 2H+ (aq)+ SO42-(aq) ---> 2 Al(OH)3 (s)+ 2K+ (aq)+ SO42- (aq)+ 2H2O(l)

since Al(OH)3 is precipitated as a solid

this is a precipitation reaction
