Charge Q3 must be placed towards left side of charge Q1 because amount of Q1 is less so it will apply less force of repulsion on Q3 (taken positive charge) and since amount of charge Q2 is greater than Q1 so it will apply more force hence total force will be zero if charge Q3 is placed towards left of charge Q1.

Since it is asked in question to take sign negative if he charge is towards left of Q1 hence the answer is : distance = - 0.1426 m
