Patients in ICU needs extreme care and focus.Even patient with mild conditions may detoriate in no time.Some of the attainable goals one can want to achieve in ICU are

• The patient in ICU are at high risk of getting bedsore, this can be prevented by 2nd hourly positioning, back care,early mobilization
• Prevent infection by proper following of aseptic techniques, hand hygiene, isolation of communicable diseases,oral care ,ventilator associated pneumonia, CAUTI,hygienic care
• The patient can be given physiotherapy, range of motion exercise can be done to patient which can improve the function of musculoskeletal system,prevent foot drop ,rigidity and aide patient in walking without major difficulty.
