Question 10

if a stone is thrown into air, then its velocity will become zero at the highest point and then it will return to the ground.

so final velocity v = 0 and initial velocity u = 20m/s and acceleration is a = -9.8 m/s/s

so v = u + at

0 = 20 - 9.8 *t

so t = 2.04 s

so time required to return to ground = 2 * t = 2 * 2.04 =

Question 11

if the velocity is constant that means there is no external force acting on the car

so answer = The sum of the external forces acting on the car is zero.

Question 12

if the refrigator is moving with constant velocity that means friction force is equal to applied force.

so answer = 200 N
