ANSWER:

In U.S the trade deficit increased for the current period year 2018 to 2019. Iit widened to USD 55.5 billion in October'2018 from an upwardly revised USD 54.6 billion in the month of September; and compared with expectations in market of a USD 54.9 billion gap. Since October of 2008 it is the highest deficit because lower soybean sales weighed down on exports and imports have reached very high.

The exports of services in October increased $0.1 billion to $69.6 billion. The financial services increased $0.1 billion; other business services, which include research professional and management services; and development services; and technical, trade-related, and other services, increased $0.1 billion. The transportation has reduced by $0.1 billion. Imports of services in October'18 raised $0.2 billion to $46.9 billion. The travel (for all purposes inclusive of education) increased $0.2 billion. U.S. trade deficit in goods increased after the Trump administration threatened to raise tariffs in 2019. Exports declined mainly due to lower sales to China
