Reaction is

NaHCO3 + HCl ............> NaCl + CO2 + H2O

One mole NaHCO3 react with 1 mole HCl to form one mole NaCl.

mole of NaHCO3 = mass / molar mass = 2.500 g / 84.007 g/mole = 0.02976 mole.

thus

theoretical yield of NaCl = 0.02976 mole = mole * molar mass = 0.02976 mole * 58.44 g/mole = 1.74 g (answer)
