Court is a place where there is legal proceedings between two party on a single case.Children can act as a child witness but only when they are competent enough, in a sound mind with no mental disability.The child is first taken in the judge's courtroom asked question and then judged for the ability to testify in the court.

The child are not allowed are necessary to testify in case of being trafficked.They are not necessarily to be present in front of the accused or the convicted person to testify on the court.

The child who ages 4 and above with good mental soundness can testify in the court.In certain state the age limit is 14 years for a child to testify in the court.

They can testify through closed circuit system or closed circuit television system. They can testify in case of any family legal concerns rather than a criminal case to testify which can endanger the life of child.
