● Sympathetic nervous system is responsible for the involuntary function of the body.When it losses its function it can be mimicked by administering a sympathomimetic drug.This drug goes and acts on the adrenergic receptor in two ways either by stimulating the receptor directly or by increasing the levels of adrenaline and noradrenaline or epinephrine and norepinephrine. They act similarly like the catecholamines and mimics its function.

●The causative factors like use of medication, any head injury, family history can lead to death of the brain cells called as neuronal cells which is responsible for transmission of information.The main changes which can found in the brain are deposition of Lewy bodies,cell degeneration, leakage and alteration in the blood brain barrier of the central nervous system. Death of these cells interrupts its function generally affecting the cognitive functions and motor functions gradually.

●To have a strict medication adherence not to skip ,overdose or underdose

Take as prescribed

Avoid taking unnecessary OTC drug

In case of children and very elder it has to be taken under supervision

Avoid direct sunlight on the medication or irs container

Avoid activity which pose threat for injury like swimming alone ,climbing ver high

If there is any seizure episode lie on floor in supine position when alone or recovery position is good.

● The treatment for the children with hypothyroidism is medical management by administration of levothyroxine tablets or hormone replacement therapy as per the the endocrinologist order.
